1966
Lloyd and Rose Marie Berg start the company Central Packaging with $2000 in the back office of The Carousel Room, an Ambassador greeting card, party, and postal shop in Chicago, IL. The two-car detached garage with the storefront is used for Central Packaging’s warehouse, servicing local caterers and airline commissary at the O’Hare Airport.
1967
Lloyd and Rose Marie Berg purchase Frank’s Suburban Barbecue from a Central Packaging customer in Skokie, IL.
1970
As Central Packaging continues to grow, The Carousel Room is closed, and Frank’s Suburban Barbecue is sold.  Central Packaging moves to its first stand-alone facility in Rosemont, IL and continues to expand its line of food service items for local restaurants, caterers, and airline foodservice.
1980
Central Packaging is reincorporated as Tablemate Products, Inc. Tablemate Products expands into the party goods industry offering a full line of plastic tablecovers, banquet rolls, and table skirting – along with expanding its line of food service and catering items.
1985
Tablemate Products, Inc. moved to a larger facility in Des Plaines, IL.
1994
Tablemate Products, Inc. completes construction of a new manufacturing facility in Shawano, WI and installs its first automated tablecover folding line.
1996
Tablemate Products, Inc. completes an addition to its manufacturing facility and installs a second tablecover folding line and two automatic rewinder lines.
2008
Tablemate Products, Inc. moves its corporate headquarters, distribution, and fulfillment center to 851 E. State Parkway, Schaumburg, IL
2017
Tablemate Products, Inc. completes the installation of two additional tablecover folding lines at its manufacturing facility.
