Lloyd and Rose Marie Berg start the company Central Packaging with $2000 in the back office of The Carousel Room, an Ambassador greeting card, party, and postal shop in Chicago, IL. As Central Packaging continues to grow, The Carousel Room is closed, and Frank’s Suburban Barbecue is sold. Central Packaging moves to its first stand-alone facility in Rosemont, IL and continues to expand its line of food service items for local restaurants, caterers, and airline foodservice.
